The Grade Six students will be holding a canned food drive/bake sale fundraiser on Friday, September 28th to help those affected by the storm last Friday. In keeping with our Gospel themes of Hope, Love and Community, Grade Six students will be selling baked goods, collecting canned food and non-perishable items as well as any monetary donations to the relief fund.

The students will be selling baked goods for one dollar an item and there will be a cake raffle with tickets that are being sold for $1 each or three for $2. All baked goods will be nut free. Gluten-free items and candy skewers will also be available. In addition, canned food/pasta/snack/other food donations will be accepted, to help replenish the West Carleton and Ottawa Food Bank, as well as any monetary donations.

Finally, Orange Shirt Day will also be taking place next week. All staff and students are encouraged to wear an orange shirt on Monday, October 1st. For more information on Orange Shirt Day, please visit

Thanks for your support.
