Christmas in Corkery Tonight!

A reminder that our Christmas in Corkery community event will be tonight, Thursday, December 13th, from 4:45pm to 6:30pm. The highlight is always the performance, which will have a nativity theme and will be held on the outdoor stage from approximately 5:00pm to 6:30pm, but there are also many other exciting activities to experience.
Outside, there will be sleigh rides and a bonfire. Inside the gym, there will be seasonal music, artwork to admire and you can make a donation and get your picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
You will also be able to purchase food tickets for chili and pizza, and enjoy a hot chocolate. There will also be popcorn and a bake sale. Only cash will be accepted for any food purchases.
Of course, both inside and outside, you will be able to visit with friends and enjoy the company of members of the school community. The weather for this event can be unpredictable, but it will proceed as scheduled, rain (snow) or shine. As the performance and other portions of the evening will be held outside, all students and members of our school community should be dressed appropriately for the weather. All members of our community are encouraged to bring a donation for the West Carleton Food Bank tonight as well.
